Cascadia doors….

Our doors in the M2 were odd to open and very easy to close.   To open the door we had to lift the handle and give the door a shove with our shoulder.    This became second nature to us and was not a problem.

The Cascadia now has her own quirks to get used to and one is the doors are super tight.   If the doors do not shut all of the way the interior lights stay lit.   Needless to say the lights are lit often.

The doors have to be shut forcibly to get them to seal properly.   To open lift the handle and the door opens no more shoulder throws. I am sure that the tightness of the Cascadia doors will be awesome this winter when the wind is howling.

In the past years when the wind was howling we kept a blanket handy or our coat to throw over our left leg as the wind felt as if it was coming right through the door.   The left side of our body was always freezing when the wind was just right.

As time goes on we will continue to learn more about the Caffcadia and work out all of these interesting oddities.
