It's a Team's Life

We left the house and headed for our pickup.   After being home for a few weeks I had lots to put away and organize in the truck.   Bob is awesome about making the bed after the sheets are washed and putting away our uniforms.   While we are home I keep a pile of odds and ends that need to be loaded back into the truck.   While at home the bills and paperwork do not stop and I bring in my portable file cabinet, computer, and notebooks, all of my power cords for my phones, vitamins, camera, and the list goes on.   All of that has to go back in the truck and be put away in its proper spot.   We were able to go to the pickup early and I got the truck neat and tidy ready to be back on the road for a month to six weeks.

After I had all this done I went to bed and left Bob up waiting for our transfer truck to arrive.   Getting back into the rhythm of sleeping while the truck is moving takes a few nights and I knew I needed to get sleep when I could.   In a short period of time we were offered another load picking up not to far from where we delivered that Bob accepted.   The first load delivered early early Saturday morning and the next load does not pickup till Monday.   Leaves us free for the weekend to catch up to truck life.

We have favorite cities we like to spend weekends at and Albuquerque is one of mine.   There are a few good Mexican restaurants near that we can walk to and there is a really nice walking trails about four blocks away.   I have found the beginning of the trail going south but have not reached the end going north.   I am hoping the weather will cooperate and we can get in a few miles this weekend!
