She calls on her way to work each morning to chit chat about her day and what is going on in her life.    Brandy has lived in several different time zones while in the military.   She has always called on her way to work and sometimes on her way home.   Our job is so flexible that we very seldom are in a position that we cannot have a great conversation with her.    Both of our girls have a pretty long commute and we often spend the time on the phone while we are all driving.   We all have wireless ear pieces so it is as if we are all in the car together.   Often the girls and I are all driving at the same time and we have a conference call.   While Brandy is deployed these daily phone calls are missed greatly.   She misses out on the daily chatter of the hum drum stuff going on in our lives and we miss out on what is going on in hers.   We still communicate by email, but it is just not the same.   Once Brandy has deployed we all start counting down the days till she will be back and we can have our daily conversations.
