It's a Team's Life
Bad Luck Oh My
We were in upper Minnesota and were getting ready to move to a Wal-Mart closer to our pickup. While doing a pre-trip a bubble was noticed on the sidewall of our Michelin wide base single drive tires. There is no way that tire will hold up for very long so the search was on for a new tire. I started calling the Michelin dealers and was starting to get desperate when I finally found one that had two Bridgestone wide base single drive tires. We have almost 400,000 on our drive tires so we were not too upset with the mileage these tires have given us. We drove to the dealer who pulled us into the shop and then figured out the computer showed he had two Bridgestone tires but he could not find them. Luckily while looking for those tires he came across a Michelin wide based single so we only bought one tire. We are now in a dilemma as the tire we bought has a horrible rolling resistance, so do we sell the tire we just bought and buy two more or do we buy another tire to match? We will have to figure that out after we finish the load we are on and check out prices and also what they will give us for this tire with a few thousand miles on it.
