32 Years and Counting

We thought we were being very smart by getting married and then planning our wedding to be on a holiday weekend. The reason was sound as Bob could take off work for three days and not have his pay docked.  As we have aged and our income has stabilized our 9 to 5 job set in and we could get a lot done on those three day weekends. The wedding anniversary pretty much gets shoved to the side and we do interesting things such as pour cement for our fence, attend horse shows, or have something happening with 4-H that we needed to attend. Now we are out on the road we usually haul a load on our anniversary. Bob, being the sentimental person he is often tries to plan a romantic evening or weekend and surprise me, but something usually happens and his plans fall through. We have done a lot of things throughout our marriage and we still enjoy each other's company and will for many years to come.
