We were able to get our trucks parked in our parking spot out front.   Henry Albert, his Cascadia and Trailer were parked across the aisle from our truck.   We waited all day for the rain to come and mess up our polishing but it never happened.

In reality the show starts way before the doors are opened to the public.   There were many of us sweating and polishing our trucks to put our best tire forward. In the parking lot as we prepared there was no competing truck lines we were all just professional drivers helping one another. While working on our own trucks we often stopped to assist others who were having problem reaching a ticklish spot!   We all also share tips on easier ways to clean or polish the trucks.   One new tip I learned was after I cleaned my windshield I sprayed the outside of the windshield with Lucas Detailer to remove streaks and turn the windshield crystal clear.   Our windshield and I appreciated this tip.

Henry has a great cheap tool for removing bug carcasses from the windshield.   You can purchase the Dobie sponge at Wal-Mart in the dish cleaning area. The sponge makes short work of bugs and road grime that have accumulated on your windshield.   The comradery in the parking lot while cleaning the trucks for the show is a refreshing part of the Expo experience.
