Texas Update

The game of Texas Roulette took a little over two weeks. After my intrastate load, it took an extra week to get out of Texas. My instate delivery left me way down south in McAllen. I figured any trolling would only cut into any loaded miles and wouldn’t necessarily put me in a better location, so I was willing to wait a little longer than usual. The end of my second week in Texas, I got a weekend load with only forty miles of deadhead going to Saginaw, Michigan. End results: eighteen days, three loads, 3600 miles.

I spent this week waiting on a shop appointment. Thursday’s appointment dragged into Friday, because the wrong part arrived. From here I’ll try for another load and then make my way to Wilmington, Ohio for the Expedite Expo this weekend. Next week I’ll probably take some time off for housekeeping chores.
