Rock The Ford

I’ve never had a reason to stop in Rocky Ford, Colorado until last weekend. The last load was a real expedited load going to a water filter manufacturer. The filter maker was making filter assemblies that are going to the Philippines for typhoon recovery efforts. This delivery was one of those that has an address that doesn’t match any maps. The photo below shows the road I might have followed if I used Google maps. It wasn’t a bad group of miles—1242 miles in 23 hours. I could have taken US 50 the entire way from Cincinnati to Rocky Ford, but I didn’t. That would be more of a holiday challenge.
