Happy Thanksgiving 2014

Happy Thanksgiving from Christiansburg, Virginia.

I couldn’t believe the diesel price at this Shell station in Winchester, Virginia on the day before Thanksgiving. I thought it was a mistake. The sign on the street said $3.39. I triple checked to make sure I wasn’t pumping gasoline. When I saw that the pump really was dispensing at $2.79 I thought about filling my empty juice bottles and rubber boots.

I decided to run the week hard, since most of the month I’ve been in the shop or hanging close to the shop. The rear main engine seal did not fix my oil leak. It’s a slow leak, so I’m just going to run with it for the time being. By Wednesday I had four loads for the week. For my Thanksgiving Day festivities I’ve been watching the Black Thursday preparations at Walmart.
