An Indiana Cross Route

The spoke arrangement of interstate highways in Indiana is pretty good for traversing the state, but intrastate routes between the spokes can be lacking. Lafayette to Fort Wayne was missing the section between Lafayette and Logansport. The upgrade to Indiana Route 25 from Lafayette to Logansport is now open, so it is divided highway, controlled access the whole way. The upgrade is comparable to the US 24 upgrade between Fort Wayne and Toledo that opened earlier this year.
