We are in the Northeast, predispatched to pick up a load on Thursday. Our plans for the 4th are to take a commuter train into Manhattan and spend the day at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

It's another year that I'm not going to make it to Blossom, to hear the Cleveland Orchestra perform the '1812 Overture' with real cannons, sigh, but I think I've found a pretty good alternative: Boston. I have high hopes for the fireworks here!

Boston is wonderful for the 4th of July !!
Love going to see the Boston Pops at the HatShell and seeing the fireworks !!Then heading to Cape Cod for the weekend !!
Love Boston, makes me home sick thinking about it !

Home taking care of maint and loose ends...
BUT got me $300 worth of fireworks, lots of burgers a new water slide and 3 grand buddies that cannot wait to see me....

I'm on my way to Gettysburg, Pa, hoping to catch the fireworks there. Then pre dispatched for Thursday night pu, fri morning delivery. Even with the holiday this week I am glad I managed to secure a few loads. Hope everyone has a fun and safe 4th.

We will be spending our day getting ready to go to Vermont on Thursday - for the motorcycle rally.

Had our big bash on the 30th. Lots of grilling, fireworks and fun.

Got back in last night from dropping in Detroit. Will take today off and head back out Thursday around noon'ish.
Will be with my roommates family today as they are like family to me as well. They are very close to one another and it gives me great satisfaction to be part of a family like this.
They lost their beloved mother last October, who was like a big sister to me, a truely great woman, and she loved every holiday for the sole reason to bring the family together.
Somethings - will always continue on.
God bless you all and this great nation and I hope each and everyone of you can be with your family and let them know how important they are to you.

Deadheaded back home to St. Petersburg, Fl. Will make myself available from here in the fifth and dh back to atlanta on Monday if I don't get a load.

Got alot of papework done and ready for the accountant. Watched TV and did laundry. Other htan that, I slept way too much.

I was on a load from San Diego to New Jersey but had to turn it down since the truck has been in repair shop. So Today would mark one week in San Diego, hopfuly i can get something nice out as soon as the truck is fixed.

Well I was on a nice load from Iowa, to Los Angles, till panther realized it was not a single transit load( or conned a team into working), so now I sit in Denver, thinking about firing up the grill, over all glad I decided to work this week instead of taking off, 3 good loads and then the Los Angles screw-up, so not too bad for a holiday week.
