Where will you spend Independence Day?

Got up this morning, made coffee (Fresh Beans, yummy) and had some quiet time with my wife.

Drove over to Fairborn about 9am to march in their parade.

Went to Applebee's for lunch (All you can eat Soup n' Salad). Excellent Tomato Basil Soup and Shrimp n' Spinach Salad.

Bonded with the parrot for a while and then watched a movie on the computer.

Both of us had a good laugh when we realized our anniversary was on July 2nd. Oops! Saved again, because she forgot too! Too much going on this past month.

We spent it at home. I had a good load this past Sunday and it's been quiet since then - nice to get a few days off in a row.

Spent the past couple of days working on vehicles - new front brakes on the wife's car, oil/fuel filter changes on the Sprinter, finished installing the CB and tuning the antenna. Also got a little seat time on the backhoe yesterday, digging a trench for the electrical service out to the polebarn - hopefully get to lay the conduit today before it rains and fills the trench back in.

Yesterday afternoon we went over to some friends' house we hadn't seen in a couple months for hotdogs, burgers, fireworks ..... and a little Mike's Hard Lemonade.
