Oh for crying out loud !!! Take a chill pill!! What is with all of this seriousness around here? WE cant have a sense of humor once in awile? Hasnt anyone ever been in a church sermon when someone passes gas right at the quiet moment of the sermon?Laugh while you still can, enjoy the great memories while we still have them..this is a place for us to be casual,unwind, be ourselves, learn, laugh, love, etc...

Man, some of you guys must have some sort of hypnotic affect, probably from too much time staring at a certain pair of shorts. Anyway, there is one thread that's supposed to stick to topic without any extra frill and that's the no banter location thread. The other threads are whatever they are so get your sunglasses, stop looking at the shorts, and post as appropriate.

Thank you.Sometimes a little humor or something is needed to snap our minds out of the ho-hum of the meeting in itself.Reminds me of my earlier days, sittting in all of those business meetings,so bored.But one speaker threw some humor in it,and it was the best meeting with the best results ever.Everyody was alive and alert,because he kept it at a reasonable level of both.Sometimes we need that in life.
On any of my post's you can talk about what ever you want. It's all in good fun. now back to what I asked.
Lets say you just came back in service in a C or D unit and your at home now. Your carrier calls you up and offers a load 500 miles for .90 per mile. Whould you take it?

No way!!! There is little chance that I would take .90 per mile at ANY time. In fact, there is only one time that I would. IF I really needed to be home and the load took me there I would, only because it would lower the cost of my dead head.
Bruno, as someone that's run straight trucks, wouldn't you have some idea as to the cost to run a c or d unit and what the answer to your question might be? I'm just wondering why you post threads like this from time to time.
