What is the most famous Expedite Trucks? I can only think of two. The first one and the most famous is the Little Duce Coupe of Glen and Janice Rice. The other one is the Stars and Strips of Phil and Diane Madsen. I don't know that is the name of the Madsen truck. But that is what I have always called it. Both very nice trucks.

I remember seeing The White Tiger, which was a International that was covered in tiger stripes. No idea who owned it,I think it was based in Akron Ohio.this was back in the mid 90's

Any work truck that is Expedite White..Anything is else is just pretty and show boating :)

Ya see so many that look good,, I would vote for trucks that have custom paint on em and not vinyl. Some vinyl does look good but I would prefer paint if I could afford it.
Sorry I don't know of any that are as you say Famous. Familial maybe but not famous.

EDIT: I take some of that back,,
Who published the photo here maybe a year or so ago? Truck with maybe a national monument or Gov building in the back ground?? Id vote that could be a famous photograph.

I'd have to go with the Mr. Snappy aka J. England....Stars and Stripes paint job with chrome and lights ,closing in on a 800K miles I think and very few maintenance problems...

There are a few more than Glens truck and surely Phils. But they are trucks, I don't think I ever seen a "famous" truck in this niche that was so publicized that it was important enough to get air time for the public to see.

Mine is. It has the Load One logo on it.

The Obama reelection MegaBus.

hauling a one of a kind cargo (thank god).
normally haul high value items (some will disagree)
good pay per mile.
it cost more then it's owner can afford.
have electronic logs, and GPS trucking.
nice sleeper.
Fox news loves it.
will have a worthless resale value.

I would vote for a group of trucks actually. The Bentz (now Bolt) SST conversions have been one of the most sought after expedite trucks for several years now.

The White Tiger International was owned by a lady named Linda. Cannot remember her last name.
She and her husband ran team for years then wrote a book about how to go into expediting or something like that. She also started a web site Expeditersexpress which is not up right now (at least I couldn't find it). It did not have a forum it was a training and news site about expediting. They ran team when Expediting really was new and going well (back in the day). I'm sure Lawrence knows of her.
