What is she worth?

She might not be worth much. I heard some carriers are getting ready to disqualify Sprinters as viable expediting vehicles due to the high frequency of break downs...

Our has never left a load or had to be rescued. What carriers are these exactly??? Never heard of such a rumor...

sounds like them darn straights making up their lies again....yo know we 3 skidders actually sprinters and Maxxes are 6 skidders...we've taken BILLIONS of dollars of business away from what was a straight truck load....they'd like nothing better then to see us log and scale....as the liberals say..."to level the playing field"....Sprinters IMO do not break down any more then a N/A slop bucket...:)

I have but 1 time broke down under load and even that was swapped with one of the fleets and was not late....:)
actually only TWICE I've broken down under load in my whole 13 yrs....Dodge/Mercedes trucks has treated me well....

Fair warning: In a few days I plan to be able to do that too! :)

All you guys that have $printer experience.
I'm going to drive up to W's place to make him an offer if he doesn't sell it first.
The factory AC doesn't work.
Wesmicher said probably the condenser. I'm thinking at 400,000 plus I ought to expect a little more.
What should I budget mentally for this future repair ? Will Europarts have all of what I need ? Would this need to be done by a $printer tech or is it common enough technology that any competent A/C guy could handle it ?

My Sprinter techs in GR say "if its the condenser, plan on a dryer too.". Just want to be all out there with you!

Bought my compressor from Euro parts for $495 and they threw in the dryer for free. Dealer wanted 1100 just for the compressor

I remember in my younger days whenever we opened a system we automatically changed the drier.
I've learned I don't want any more dealer parts than I have to have.

Not so much the dealer parts as it is dealer prices... My parts guy is very competitive as is Berrydodge. Com

I once blew a line and considered changing out the other 3.... I croaked
Btw... The other 3 are still on after 3 more years of use

They guessed based on their experience with the van. That is also what they said about the drier, "should put in a new drier just to be sure." New lines could be needed because of age/corrosion. I would budget them in and hope they are not needed. I've never gambled on repair quality so I wouldn't recommend you do either.
