7 degrees here. 60 by weekend. OVM is back out warming up the place... See I was right, we need his hot air.

I blame Al Gore for all these extreme temperature shifts.

I am so done with this weather...got all the doors on our vehicles opened (daughter's, wife's AND the van all iced shut..), cleared most of the ice... ready to go in service FINALLY.... decided to check on our basement (unfinished, nothing down there but hot water heater and old furnace..) and discovered 6 inches of water with an inch of ice on top.. we have a sump pump in the corner, but ice froze in it... ugh. We've always had a bit of rain run off, so we put a pump in years ago in case of bad rains.. Well, a drain pipe came apart, and the bathtub was dumping in the basement! After I busted thru the layer of ice, I discovered my boots were not as waterproof as I thought... 20 minutes later my feet were screaming at me, but I got everything in order, and water flowing the correct direction.

...... and Bryan called to see when I was going back in service about this time... I was nice.

;)

Probably when I can feel my feet and stop shaking!

Al Gore read your post. He wanted me to tell you, "He's got this"

Hey Cheri. The cold has warped my passenger side mirror. What kind of hammer am I supposed to use to fix it?
