It was a hit and run. And of all the times that I had the dash cam off. I ran after him but he kept going..he used the car parking lot at the Knoxville petro as a turn around. His trailer tandems ran over me. Oddly enough, the new generator made it somehow with only a few scratches. I don't know how. Heading home now to get this taken care of. How coincidental it was that the sherriff on duty in that lot went off duty about 10 minutes before this happened. He moved the front of my van over about 4 ft in the process of running over me.. Way too many drivers out here who do not take their driving seriously by not paying attention to things around them, getting easily distracted, or just lack of pride and technique in the way they drive. Way too many preventable accidents.Nothing but a bunch of steering wheel holders now and days.

Did they have any security cameras that might have seen him enter or exit?

They normally won't let you see the cameras unless a cop asks for the video. They see it as customer vs customer and they don't want to lose a customer no matter what side you are on. Had a guy hit me in fuel island and they would'nt let me or even look at it to give me a name or company or plate.

Well that stinks.

Welcome to my world. I will have to commend Load One and everyone there for taking the imitative and taking care of all that needed taken care of before I had a chance to. Bill in safety has done a stellar job in making sure the proper people were notified. Even so many in the front building contacted me and made sure I and everything is taken care of.
On a side note, I ran into Zoar today at the Pilot in Georgetown. I also got to meet one of Load Ones sales reps as well. Very nice guy who I am sure is making a difference out here. I also think Westmincher was there as well, even though I never met him face to face. But there was a promaster there with Mi plates.

Well glad our crew is getting your claim filed up quickly. Yep, I would guess that was Westmicher. Were you down in KY and met a rep or Ohio? Wow haven't seen Zohr since we parted ways. Hope he is doing well. Hopefully you can get it all fixed up quickly!

I was in Kentucky when I met the sales rep. Brad, maybe was his name? I should be home today in time to get a few estimates . I have most of the parts needed. Getting the new fender I already have painted will take the longest. My multi carrier freind who is on his way home to replace his generator, has found me a couple of parts on his way home as well.

Estimate #2 was more...but I think it all comes down to what the ins. Co. Adjuster writes the check for I think.

That ain't no lie. I've seen the backside of the front header and it's like corrugated cardboard, only plastic instead.I often wonder how anyone would survive a head on in one of those. I am hoping I can get the ins adjuster here today and a check asap, because I cannot do one thing on it till he does that. Time is money...Was on the phone calling on parts yesterday....had some luck so far locally..Things are beyond ugly right now for me because of the chain of events that have been happening this year alone. What a huge difference from last year, no doubt. But, I still have managed not to go back to smoking so far, but I figure it'll never happen, and if it was going to, it would of happened the morning of my van getting run over.

So, who's got that winning lottery ticket?......
