St. Louis to Joplin was a mess on 44 with this mornings rain ... i lost 1 1/2 hours of drve time ... ... got 150 miles left till delivery with 3 1/2 hours timewise .... dislike

Made it to Grand Prairie, Tx. with 20 minutes to spare .... 7 total accidents to stop & disrupt traffic ... 1 of my worst days driving in 13 years out here ... 3 multi-cars , 3 single car bumper -car with cement mediums .... and 1 D A car that merged onto I-44 right in front of a semi that had no way of avoidence .. seen that 1 happen ... but luckly no 1 hurt ...

Murray already told me. My mistake was staying down by San Diego. Should have headed right back to Orange County

A little deadhead in a run up north was worth it. I now know where I want to retire

Sunrise over Mazinaw Lake, on to Renfrew area

Rocky, forested and beautiful

(Sign says rock collecting in the area is dangerous and unlawful, good to know our gov is protecting rocks!)

I remember going up some dark country road in South Carolina. And coming up on a sign that said. "Shooting hogs from the highway is illegal" always wondered if that really was a problem there, there was no houses or farms to be found on the road!

Speaking of, those things have a mind of their own . Short delay while a couple try to round up 4 hogs in the middle of the highway. Theyre liking their freedom

Course being up north the friendly folk have all stopped, 3 quarters chasing hogs and the rest directing traffic
