There are multiple ways to look at the way these programs can be utilized to your benefit. The idea if watering the tree of liberty isn't really practical, at least not right now. You can then look at programs like these as a way to go undercover and become a double agent. You go in and take the programs for everything they are worth and do it legally, pretty soon they start going broke which causes them to be eliminated. There won't be a replacement program as there is no money for it and the people that are cut off quickly realize that the government can't be counted on. If the government decides to cover the expenses of these programs by taxing more and more instead of shutting them down then there will be an uprising or bankruptcy of the country. Either way we can get what we want so let's have the working man get his piece of the money pie. Now if I see a story about poor old Joe couldn't afford antibiotics so he died or Nancy has to be on food stamps because there is no other way I will still be angry because they feel entitled to other people's money.

The issue you have with trying to ask a question like this is that you think you just proved a point and are feeling all warm and fuzzy right now....but no my wife and I don't have kids. Yes we own a house that we pay taxes on in a location that if we do have kids they would never attend those schools. Don't you hate it when you swing for the fences and just end up with a whiff.

oh, private schools, they dont get any benefits from the gov?, and no, my point is we all enjoy benefits from the gov and the taxes we pay. I dont swing for the fence.

Who said anything about private schools? What do you think I am rich or something? I meant if we had kids they wouldn't go to those schools because we would be moving before they were old enough.

Strike three, your out! Have you ever thought about home schooling? If I am paying for kids to go to school I should be able to send kids to school anyway. I think your trying to lump me in with the group that says SS is stealing. I say if you paid into the system you can also apply to get your money back. My issue is with things like food stamps where people use them as a way of life, if someone has been working and paying their taxes all along then has an emergency I have no issue with them using programs.

OVM can obviously take the ribbing. So its fun for me to watch AMonger judge people and call them names.

I love how some on this thread are saying OVM is wrong for doing what he does.Yet in other threads they claim that the help is there for a reason and that when the powers that be decide you need it it is ok to use it.Well someone decided that he was able to recive the help so why now do others back track and change their beliefs for him.
Really how is this any different then say the parents that recive an extra say 4,000 dollars for EIC Just because they have a kid they get extra so the kid less people are really getting hit twice to help pay for other peoples kids so why not take everything that you can.I mean the same smart knowing people that decide if a single mom with 10 kids all with diferent babys daddys should get help are the same people that decided OVM should get the help he needed.I will ask you this who are you to decide he did not need that help.
