I am currently working a part time job till my "real" job starts
I was told I would get between 10 to 15 hours a week
I am a hard worker and now am getting 30 to 40 hours a week after only two weeks of working there.
my average pay is from 14 to 21 dollars an hour
what am I doing you ask?
I deliver pizzas for Pizza Hut making minimum wage $7.25 plus tips and mileage

All part time jobs start off with a small number of hours, if you show your a good worker they increase those hours, depending on the company..I think Wal-Mart limits part time to 28 hours a week but there are plenty of companies that hire part time up to 40 hours a week.

Did you want me to do it for you? :D JK. That was my point about people being spoiled, they think they are better than a certain type of job so they never try for it. There are so many misconceptions about places like Walmart and how they are an evil company out to stick it to the little guy but that is because they never worked there, Walmart was one of if not the first big company to extend it's benefit program to the partner in a gay relationship. They had to give that up after planned boycotts and negative press but it was done by Walmart to help employees.

Thats like how often do you see an empty store front within a mile of a wal-mart you dont. All that extra tax revenue that is brought in from buisness's that if wal-mart was not there would not open up shop.Never mind the fact that at wal-mart those food stamps go alot further then they do at other grocery stores.

Personally, I like Meijer better than Wal-Mart
Better meat, better produce etc etc
I know Meijer is not nationwide though

Meijer's Angus ribeyes are the best steaks I've ever cooked. Walmart meat is nothing but watered down crud.

That's because Meijer has meat cutters/butchers on site
Walmart is done in some warehouse and shipped to their distribution centers and then to the stores. All of Wal-Marts meat is prepackaged at where ever it comes from.
Because meat cutting is a union job.

Also here in Fort Wayne we have Scott's supermarkets they are now part of Kroger, but they have awesome quality meats, of course Meijer is cheaper

6 miles from my house is a Meijer and a Wal-Mart across the street from each other. I find myself going to Meijer more
Our Wal-Mart has very poor quality produce.
Both stores are pretty similiar in set up though.

Don't worry it is not just your Walmart, it is every Walmart, I think it is because they buy such large quantities that things aren't picked at the right time.

Working 2 jobs sounds pretty simple

We've become the society of "I got mine, yours is not my problem."
How sad.

Oh no, it's not simple or easy to be successful in life. What a terrible world we live in.

Here is a newsflash, life is hard but the only way you are going to get ahead and be successful is with hard work.

It's not the governments fault she spread her legs for 3 minutes of fun with a deadbeat dad. It was her decision. Just like it's her decision to work entry level jobs instead of bettering herself with an education. There are loans and even a bunch of grants for people to go back to school in this economy.

However, she is making the "simple" choice to not work hard and get further ahead. You know what, as long as she makes the easy choice of only working an easy p/t job, she is getting exactly what she deserves, a life of mediocrity and hardships.

Isn't this America? The laand of the free and home of the American Dream? You want to go back to the good ole days? By all means, lets do it, there was a lot less of a social safety net back then, people had to work hard to survive.

If she wants a social state, tell her to get knocked up by a Canadian and she can live in a social state where they pay single mothers over $1000 a month to sit at home and be lazy.

now take the taxes off
then houseing
heat
electric
gas for car .
heath incurnce
co pay for doctor visits
oh right she doesnt have any benefits
I dont care who you are try to live on 8$ dollor hour jobs with a family
i hope they raise gas to 10$ a gollon .

Thank you for making my point, she really should have thought of all of that before she decided to be a cruel parent and bring a child into this world that she couldn't afford to properly care for.

We shouldn't be rewarding these bad decisions, hopefully she'll reaize how hard it is to be a good parent in this economy before she decides to have a 2nd child she can't afford to raise.

Healthcare, gas for her care etc... Are luxuries, if she wants them, she needs to EARN them, either by working harder & longer or by working smarter.
