"It's one of the most bigotted posts witness has ever posted here."

It doesn't get any more personal than that. You responded to who posted it rather than what was posted. That was your mistake. Well, the first one. The second was believing you didn't respond in any way that was "personal'.

If you had said, "It's one of the most bigotted posts I have ever read here," it would have been responding to what was posted, rather than to who posted it.

If people stick to the issues, instead of who posted them, infractions and time outs would never be needed.

HHmmm......Interesting way to look at it......

But....I was speaking to Muttly about Witnesses post....not to witness "personally".(The "Who" you're referring too above) I never addressed witness at all.......

Can we not say to each other "Hey Borat....go look at that stupid stuff Ding Dong(Members Name..Not an Insult to Member) is saying over there" without getting attacked personally??

But again......I see what your side may be and see what you're saying also......OK.

I know what you meant. I'm sure you miss the good ole days, but my question to you is, why bring it up in the first place? Seriously, why would you bring up such an ugly time period of our history? Its rhetorical, no need to answer.

Let me ask you this. Do you think from what I said, a midnight visit would be:

A) a good thing
or
B) a bad thing

That would depend on who cared to visit said speaker that night..........

No, you didn't address Witness, you addressed everybody, publicly, about Witness. When you speak in public about someone, it really doesn't matter who you are directly addressing, as you're addressing everybody, anyway.

Can we not say to each other "Hey Borat....go look at that stupid stuff Ding Dong(Members Name..Not an Insult to Member) is saying over there" without getting attacked personally??
Sure we can, to each other. Like, in a PM. But when you take it publicly, it's a different ballgame.

But again......I see what your side may be and see what you're saying also......OK.
One way to do it, and it works because I've seen it and done it, is pretend you don't know who posted something, and respond to what was posted, instead of who posted it. It really works. It's not always easy, I'll give ya that, as sometimes it's truly hard to separate the post from the poster. But if you (general you) make the effort, it's usually worth it, as even the most heated discussions remain more or less about the issues. As soon as it gets personal, it always spirals down to two people sticking their tongues out at each other, and nobody learns a thing.

I read EO, I talk to people, I'm observant.

You don't have to have been alive during that era to want things to be the way it was at that time. Things were more innocent, we had prayer in schools, political correctness hadn't been invented, you could let your kids walk to school without fear of them being abducted, the list goes on and on. You don't have had to live through that to want it to be that way again.

That's a completely different issue from what many whites want today. You're talking about a consequence of what has happened over the last 50 years, That wedge is an important wedge to keep minorities, blacks in particular, on the victim side of the ledger. The wedge is an important tool to prevent, or as least slow down, the notion of most folks carrying on with their business and getting along with each other. If we carry on our business and get along with each other, blacks in particular can no longer claim to be the victim, and guilt can longer be used as an advantage to gain more ground.

Excellent examples of the Wedge.

Just to be clear who wants who not to be a victim? Regarding the "wedge" issues listed above it is the left who are using it as such. These are already existing laws and or new ones that mirror Federal law. The states are only trying to enforce these laws, which is their duty and the left screams racism.

Not only is it a states duty to enforce these laws, it is their right to do so. A sovereign state, which there are 50 of, has every right to determine who may, or may not, become a citizen of that state. They can, and should, enforce those laws and requirements.

If the statement "guess witness is having one of those double flow days" doesn't rate a time out, nothing does, IMO. It's extremely offensive on several levels, and uncalled for besides.
