Possibly, but you can't condone this kind of stuff regardless of whether something is shown or heard. If we follow that thought, should we bomb Eqypt because they burnt the US flag?

That is a load of bull Muslims made the choice to kill they could just have easily made the choice not to resort to violence and kill an just ignore the video or just express their view in non violent ways. It is not the fault of the video it is the fault of the intolerent Muslims to free speech

Yes, I understood the first time. The trajedy happened due to the people who committed the violent act period. There is a gazillion ways for someone to say something to be offensive. Resorting to violence and killing someone because of it, is not a good explanation.

One must be VERY naive to believe that the attack on the U.S. Embassy was in response to that 'movie'. This was a PLANNED attack. One would also have to be VERY naive to believe that the OTHER demonstrations etc, since this 'movie' came out are spontaneous.

These attacks (possibly coordinated?) bring to mind the ones against us in Kenya and Tanzania in 1998 that were linked to Al Qaeda. It's been said that the lack of a forceful response by the Clinton administration is what emboldened bin Laden to press ahead with bolder attacks against the US on its own soil. Only time will tell how the Obama administration will handle its first true foreign policy crisis in the middle of a political campaign.
