When Leo said, "Or it's comparing N.C. who conceded, appeased and conceded again..." I though he was, for some odd reason, talking about North Carolina seceding from the Union, and maybe autocorrect had had its way with the post. It's probably best that when people use acronyms that others aren't familiar with, or that are common to other meanings, they define them for us.

That's the way I took it. Then again, it is Leo we're talking about.

I'm blaming autocorrect, giving Leo the benefit of the doubt.
As an Admin I have to at least make the attempt to appear to be more neutral.

Then again if he'd have just said that N.C. didn't stand for North Carolina, which 99.99% of North America thinks it does, then he would have been clear in his communication.

What else could it stand for..... Given leo's recent posts.

It could stand for Neville Chamberlain, a very well know appeaser and concession giver, mentioned just prior to my post.

Ya should have said so in the first place. Avoid misunderstandings. ;)

Watched Kerry, Moniz, and Lew testify before the Senate on the Iran deal last night on C-SPAN - well worth it if one wants to get a good understanding of what the deal actually is, and how it will work. It was a little over 4 hours long.

Secretaries Kerry Moniz Lew Testimony Iran - C-SPAN

Was also pretty entertaining - because the GOP Senators - along with Menendez - were all pretty much completely enraged, knowing that they are pretty much screwed ...

Lurch handed the dude from Idaho (Sen. Risch ?) - who was pretty much blowing spit-bubbles - his head ...

As I see it we're screwed either way.
1)Reject deal and Iran continues to develop the bomb. The president isn't going to start a war when he's a lame duck. So for at least a year and half of basically of Iran going unchecked.
2. Ratify treaty and in about 10 to 15 years then they can get a bomb.

I guess the lesser of 2 evils is option 2 but still don't like it.
