Sue, more then one of our enemy nations have stated that they woulddestory or bring down our country "without ever firing a shot"....their thoughts were to destory us throught efforts of the left to destory what our founding fathers gave us and slowly over time take over though generational changes of how the people viewed the government and the finanical markets.....and who controls and takes care of who...

Look around, more and more the corporatios are the bad guys because of the prfits they make, the liberal left is slowly gaining in the peoples belief that the government is here to take care of them and that the ankers are evil because of how they do business....more and more of the younger generatios think that they are "entitled to what they think is their birth right...look how often right here in this forum you see people say a JOB is a RIGHT and that a LIVING WAGE is a RIGHT... that MEDICAL CARE is a RIGHT...none of that is true...but thats what it taught daily by the liberal left....and all of that is slowly destroying our country...how does a nation survive when the GOVERMENT is the largest employer????

They were NOT taught "entitlement" so to speak. They were, and are, being taught, reliance on government. They are being taught that our Constitution is no longer relevant. That it does not mean today what it did back when it was written.

The "living document" idea. There is no need to amend it to have health care, just do it, no one will care. In many cases they ARE right. Lot's do NOT care as long as they get what is "rightfully" theirs. Like Obama phones.

The Soviets plan was to infiltrate our Universities etc. They would "recruit" Professors, instructors and even had some immigrate to the United States. It was, is, a LONG term plan and it IS working.

Not so much recurited, but over time they were certainly employed because while interviewing their liberal left leans were a requirement of the job...some more so then others, but even thse with the minimal liberal ideals were hired. Then over time through lesson plans and how books were written the agenda was formed. Then we had progressive elected to ffice even in the Presidency that furthered the agenda that the government was the be all to end all that would take care of the people and that the peoples self responsiblity slowly as gone by the wayside for those that fell into it... and as things went we had people like President Johnson and his "great socety" where he actually got people that really never knew they were poor and needed the government to help them to fall in line with that thinking and we moved closer to what we have today...as society that is more and more depending on the government, even to the point that they done feel the need to work...or take responsiblity.... and even for the largest block of employed people, those employed by the government, they feel that they are "entitled"...they are owed something simply because they were born....

As I ask since the government is the largest employer in the country, how does a country survive that????

How does a country or even a city survive when they have more people for for the gov then in the private sector??? Where does the tax base come from to pay those gove employees wages??? Oh thats right, they tax the productive class even higher so to make them provide for those that don't won't or can't work and those employed by the gov...it can't continue, but the liberal left will continue to push it as a way of slowly over time destroying the country or foundng fathers gave us and the Constitution that it was based on....Someone in another thread here said that "just because the pass a law, doesn't make it Constitutional"...

Our biggest enemy s the "enemy within"...our government and educational systems....

Just look around you. BOTH political parties are "left wing". Government is taking over. We have a "Soviet Style" bureaucracy being formed. That bureaucracy is what the Soviets used to control the country. They could write, and enforce, regulations without question. Sound like anything going on here? Like the EPA? DOT? We now have "CZARS" in control of entire parts of the government WITHOUT oversight from the Congress. (I find it funny that they used the term of "CZAR")

Inevitable? I don't know. There are many aware of the extent of what is going on. All I can say is that I am VERY happy that I am over 60 and not 20.

I used to work with many of your "spooks" too. I would have loved to work up at one of your sites in Canada. Good people. We used to sit around talking about things like this when things were quiet.

I had MANY battles with teachers when my kids were in school. It was NOT easy but I was able to teach mine to think as well.

My youngest fell for it for a bit but as he gets older the light is starting to turn on. He is still "liberal" by my standards but it is funny to hear him say that ONLY those who pay taxes should be allowed to vote.

Do you not think with population expansion, lack of jobs, especially during the 1920's .... that G'ment was bound to step in to assist the poor.
Otherwise can you see USA being the #1 nation of the Civilised world but it lets its citizens suffer?

Agreed that G'ment plays too bigger part here at at home (No ...we aren't going there today, we are talking about the USA today LOL)
But I don't think it has to do with the Soviets .....don't you think that at least some of it is needed in today's society - what is it today 1 in 5 Americans are living below the poverty line

I did not mean "right" as in the context that you mean - my apologies for any confusion there.....

If you do not agree with the G'ment taking taxes and everything from each individual IYO how would that work?

What would be the point of a G'ment? Without a G'ment would each State become a Country in their own right?

Sue I posted this a while back. It might give you some insight in our Government using tax dollars to help those in need, for whatever reason they find themselves in need.
