The Trump Card...

So are you saying that you and muttly are Democrats then ?

:tearsofjoy:
Oh, that's funny. That's the "So" Tell. Whenever someone rephrases or sums up what someone said or did, if it begins with "so" it's going to be an inaccurate retelling. Every time. Watch for it. It's hilarious.

I believe it's been reported (WaPo) that there three videos of the incident.

If that's the case, it's possible that the lawyer was referring to one of the three that he was being questioned about, or was aware of at the time.
It's possible. But highly unlikely. But can you provide the video you were referring to? Thanks

This a Karen like behavior. Usually resolved by paying fine.

Nope, not when you're keeping two sets of books it's not ... not even close.

:tearsofjoy:

Best part is, Trump essentially confessed at his rally (in Sarasota ?) the other night ...

That's the sort of stupid that is probably unfixable.

Nope, sure can't ... was something I saw months ago, in passing, when I was watching a lot of footage of the riot by the domestic terrorists at the Capitol on January 6th.

Didn't bookmark it ... or most of the other terrorist riot stuff I watched around that time.

Didn't think so.

Nope ... she was probably at least 6' - 8' away, in front of a broken out window.

And you're conveniently ignoring the possibility that the mic was directional, not omni-directional.

Cameraman was focused on the officer with the gun (when it became apparent that he had one and was pointing it) not the girl.

:tearsofjoy:
I heard surround sounds plus clearly heard the gun shot from behind the glass but no commands from the officer from the same direction. But thanks for playing.

I heard surround sounds

Mic would pic up nearby sounds, assuming there was no barrier blocking or obstructing.

(The decibel scale is logarithmic)

plus clearly heard the gun shot from behind the glass

Yeah, well ... duh ... firing off a round inside a building in an enclosed space tends be be rather painful ...

A shot from a .22 rifle is around 140 dB ... which is painful and can cause permanent hearing damage ... with as little as a single shot.

It's why indoor ranges tend to insist on hearing protection if you're going to shoot there or be on range.

:tearsofjoy:

but no commands from the officer from the same direction.

You want to hazard a guess at the difference in loudness of someone yelling and a gun shot ?

Screaming, Yelling, Shouting = 90 dB

Loudest Sound Capable by Human Voice = 120 dB (likely wouldn't be intelligible words)

Glock 17 (unsuppressed, firing Remington UMC 147gr ammo) = 162 dB

(The decibel scale is logarithmic)

But thanks for playing.

No - thank you.

And here's hoping you have better luck next time !

That's the point. There was a barrier. So it would obstruct hearing a command if given. As I said before. An officer should have a reasonable expectation that a command, if given, can be heard before using deadly force.
How can someone reasonably hear him, with people yelling, a glass barrier, and him wearing a mask?

First of all, that pipeline would have done nothing for us as almost all of the fuel was to be exported.
Did you blame George W. For the highest gas prices in history in 2008? We, in Lansing, MI hit $4.50 per gallon while diesel was over $5.00 per gallon. How about the fact the he was in office when it hit $2.00 per gallon.
Who was in office in the mid-70’s when the oil embargo hit which almost doubled gas prices over night which started the inflation (that Jimmy Carter got blamed for).
But the way, I never liked Nixon but didn’t blame him as I don’t know what he could have done about it as is the case with President Biden as well as George W.

Look how Trump kept average gas prices below the 3 dollar mark throughout his presidency. Biden took around 6 months to shatter that.
