Well said, although I want to add that Trump is not the cause of the sickness, but he is another symptom of it.
So you dont think that there are too many people (on both sides) that believe that "the rules dont apply to me"?More like trump is the guy that ripped the band-aid off hard.....
Why take the word of a person (Mitt) who would put certain people “ back in chains”? Is that someone to believe?MSN

There are to many period that think they are above the law....sadly yes there are some Republicans but far...far to many are Democrats.....and right now the Democrats are in control. So you dont think that there are too many people (on both sides) that believe that "the rules dont apply to me"?
I haven't really seen a lot of examples of people on the right thinking the rules don't apply to them. Conservatives are all about law and order, follow the rules, follow the Constitution, work hard, and everything will turn out OK. Conservatives are also more "Systems" oriented, where if you follow the rules of the system, the end results, whatever they may be, will be fair. Liberals, on the other hand, are more "Goals" oriented, where the rules and methods required to achieve the goal are not as important as the goal itself, and they will change the rules on the fly to ensure the goal is met.So you dont think that there are too many people (on both sides) that believe that "the rules dont apply to me"?
Here's the thing. The entire Jan 6th Committee and it's related investigations, are all predicated on the infallible ability to read Trump's mind. The Left wants to make it a crime to investigate illegal votes. But only when the other side wants to.
Great point. Let's not forget the 2000 election and Bush v. Gore. That was a more civilized time, but how far would the Democrats have been willing to go if SCOTUS hadn't stopped the nonsensical recounts in FL?But if he truly believed he won and the election was stolen from him, then his actions since the election are literally to right a wrong, and there's nothing even remotely illegal about that.
Those Dems weren’t investigated afterwards with a partisan prosecutor empaneling a grand jury composed of 95 percent Republicans? Didn’t think so…Great point.
