Uh oh, ............

That seems like it could be a little problematic for ol' Don Juan ...

Do you have a number of the people that were at the speech-rally and went over to the capitol and then committed an act of violence?

How's that whole Durham investigation thing coming along these days ?

:tearsofjoy:
I have no idea.
Hey do you know if there is a new DC law that says they have to identify the name of the officer of a shooting without delay? I thought it became law recently.

Nevermind. I found reference to it here:
Like I said, unusual.

I have no idea.

Thanks for clearing that up.

Are you concerned ?

Ok.

What do you think is the significance of that ?

Like I said, unusual.

Probably not ... at least in this particular instance.

Do you know why ?

Highly unusual. They made the law to be more transparent. Its not only been over 5 days, it's been over a month.
Yes, politics

All that is true, assuming "they" being DC government.

Yes, politics

Doubtful ... it's more likely the case that DC law you have cited governs the Metropolitan Police Department of the District of Columbia with regards to the conduct and investigation of their own officers.

Jurisdiction - the place where an event occurred - in this case in an actual federal building vs general district property (which is itself federal) - may play a role as well.

In this particular case, Ashli Babbit was shot by Capitol Police (a federal law enforcement agency)

Metropolitan Police Department - which is a local law enforcement agency (albeit with local, state, and federal responsibilities) - and Capitol Police are not the same thing.

The Capitol Police asked the MPD to be the investigator on this case - probably to remove any charges of undue influence or politics coloring an investigation of one of Capitol Police's own officers.

So, without the text of the law in question, it's not really even clear whether the law you referenced would apply in this case.

These things can be confusing sometimes ... but we are happy to share any meager insights we might have.

(Many) Democrats and anti Trumpers are taking a yooge hit right in the schadenfreude as Palm Beach authorities acquiesced to allow President Trump to take up permanent residency at the Mar-a-Lago private club and resort. In an agreement struck between the resort and the city 30 years ago, club members may only stay at the resort up to 7 consecutive days, and no more than 21 days in a calendar year. However, the same agreement states bona fide employees of the club and the Trump Organization are not bound by such residency restrictions and thus can live at the club indefinitely.

This is a non-issue..... (Many) Democrats and anti Trumpers have more important issues to deal with than where The King of Orange lives.

Quite true.

Nonetheless, I'm sure there are some that will take some small measure of solace in the fact that Don Cheeto is presiding over an ever-dwindling number of sycophants to hold court over ... as the rats scurry to abandon the sinking ship ...

Sloppy "evidence":

Yes, it was unfortunate.

But in terms of the bigger, overall picture, it really seems like a mixed bag at best ... with Senator Potato providing more evidence to make the case:

The important thing about the Mike Lee impeachment trial dust-up

Trump is inside The Left's head.

Nah ... he's down in Florida ... possibly sitting on a gold crapper and probably trying to figure out who he could retain as counsel, if he decides to fire his current attorneys ...
