The Trump Card...

Still about 10 or so Trump signs from the blue-collar manufacturing Demecratic majority area here that voted for Trump handily in the past election. I haven't gone farther north in the county though which probably has even more than that because they voted heavily for Trump.
I did see one Biden sign and a NO BIDEN sign in my survey.

Of course ... Biden won, and the election is over. No real need for signage at this point.

The one that's still up is probably just a straggler someone hasn't gotten around to yet ...

Does anyone think Publix will suffer any backlash from this latest nugget on who was funding the insurrection and if so, will it be significant ?

Were they funding the rally or were they funding a surge on the capitol?

Probably a backlash to the backlash because people will see they're are being unfairly aligned with the rioters.

Since my premise was that there might not be a difference from the organizers perspective, it would then be the organizers who were being unfair by doing the aligning.

In any event, the high likelihood remains, people who merely attended the rally are aligned with the rioters, if only to this degree:

They are both (by and large) Trump supporters.

Not saying they are the same, because they aren't.

Some portion of the group (likely most) clearly chose not to engage in unlawful, violent action - which is to their credit.

The question that needs to be asked though is:

How amenable are they to be being radicalized ?

Someone seems just a little #triggered ... :tearsofjoy::

And what's going on with that left eye ?

Sure seems like he's developing the SHS "affliction" ...

Apparently not uncommon for states to honor former leaders.

The use of the word "leaders" assumes one is referring to someone that actually leads.

Of course, the counter-argument to that would be that Trump has lead ... but I'm guessing that loss of the House, Senate, and Presidency in four short years is not what most Republicans envision as a desirable destination ...

Actually a leader that was one of the greatest Presidents ever. He garnered over 10 million more votes than the previous election. Must have done something right. Pulled a great deal of representatives to victory on his coat tails in past election. He won counties over 5 to 1. Bellwether counties 19 of 20. The county I'm in, the Dems got swept out except for the Sheriff.
BTW, how is that vaccine coming along? It's here and 3 years early. And there are multiple ones too.
