The Trump Card...

I honestly don't know how Trump will get out of the pickle he now finds himself in. Deuetsche Bank and Signature Bank have had long and friendly relationships with him, but they have both said they will no longer do business with him. Other financial entities he used as recently as last week have cut him off. A snowball effect seems to be now underway as business entity after business entity cuts Trump off.

Where will he next go to manage his finances? With corporate America taking a fierce stand against Trump, will any bank or payment processing center be willing to do business with him? It's a simple matter to determine the name of the next bank or processing service that takes Trump on. Will any be willing to do that and thereby subject themselves to the certain public outcry? If no American or mainstream foreign bank is willing to take Trump on, where will he turn? What will he do to save his financial empire from the business shunning now underway?

The events of Jan 6 proved to be a bridge too far. Corporate America is pissed. They are pissed at Trump. And they now seem determined to obliterate his ability to operate like they obliterated Parler.

As I said, I am stunned by the speed and totality with which corporate America is turning on Trump. And now, it's not just Trump, Trump's operatives are being targeted too. This from Forbes:

“Let it be known to the business world: Hire any of Trump’s fellow fabulists... and Forbes will assume that everything your company or firm talks about is a lie. We’re going to scrutinize, double-check, investigate with the same skepticism we’d approach a Trump tweet,” Randall wrote in the article titled ‘A Truth Reckoning: Why We’re Holding Those Who Lied For Trump Accountable’.

“Want to ensure the world’s biggest business media brand approaches you as a potential funnel of disinformation? Then hire away.”

Lane said the attack on the US Capitol Building last Wednesday was the result of a years’ long misinformation campaign, and that Trump’s officials don’t deserve to be spared from the fall-out.

They are all just making business decisions to spare themselves from the mob...on the left.
The mob they are responding to is the one they saw in the nation’s Capitol on Jan. 6.

Mobs were seen in Minneapolis after the George Floyd death. Mobs were later seen in Washington, D.C., Portland, and elsewhere. Corporate America did not take action against the president after those. They are taking action against Trump after Jan 6, and some are specifically naming Trump and his aids as the reason why. They are not naming "the left" as you are fond of referring to. They are naming Trump.

The Left isn't trying to hold anyone accountable, like they claim, they're after vindictive revenge, the bread and butter of cancel culture.

With the mobs in Minneapolis and elsewhere, Corporate America funded them with MORE money. Yet they are defunding anyone associated with Trump due to what they say was the Jan 6 mob action. You don't see the hypocrisy in that? But it is really about one thing. Politically it was ok to fund BLM and antifa because, regardless of the mob destruction and murder, it was seen as a just cause by the Left. The other one wasn't. So to them it really is about The Cause and not about whether there is mob violence.

This is why only someone like Trump, with his money that he has, was the only candidate the Republicans could win with. He had a lot of EF U money to absorb the onslaught from all the Left controlled vindictiveness. Any other candidate would be financially crushed. He didn't have to run 4 years ago. He had a good life and business. And will take tremendous financial hits, but they really couldn't defeat him. It's not really a victory when you have 98 % of the Democrat Media, swamp underlings, and Deep State players throughout, undermining him at every turn. The fact remains, none of them individually could have withstood the relentless assault on the presidency if they were in his shoes.
They really are a pathetic bunch.

Still at it i see. Anything to slam the Democrats and the left.

The fact is, anybody the Repubs nominated would have won running against such a flawed candidate as Hillary was.

You've got to be joking!
The constant attacks and lies about the left aren't insulting?
Smh

Just shows, the right wing party is proving itself the party of hypocrisy. They can dish it out but they sure-as-hell can’t take it.
Any time we ask for a recount or something we are “trying to turn around the voter’s decision” and the “will of the voters”. Different when the shoe is on the other foot isn’t it?
You guys call us “poor losers” and “cry babies” etc.
More Hypocrisy!
My God, the election wasn’t even close.
Get over it! You lost. In other words, “Trump, YOU’RE FIRED!!!!!”
I will probably be banned from this site for telling the truth.
If that’s the case, this site isn’t any better than FB or the others who you people are criticizing for having a far greater reason to do so.

I really used to enjoy reading the stories about people’s experiences. Learned a lot from them.
But it really began becoming more political and mostly one-sided. Any time someone from the left tried to explain the other side we were attacked. A lot of times personally with name calling and all.
I remember seeing a lot of good people saying that they didn’t need this any more and dropping out.
That’s really bad because this site really has a lot going for it.
Why can’t we get back to what it once was. A site that I and others can look forward to opening every day?
I retired a couple of years ago but would still like to see what it’s like out there.

They are not calling it mob action. They are calling it Donald Trump inciting a riot. They are calling it an insurrection against the United States as Congress was meeting in joint session to carry out its constitutional duties. THAT was a bridge too far for corporate America. THAT is why they are now taking the actions they are to distance themselves from and withdraw support for Donald Trump.

It is common for Trump people to immediately try to shift the focus onto the left whenever Trump is criticized. That's not working this time because Trump crossed a bridge too far. While it may be significant what the left did or is doing, it is more significant what Trump did, and corporate America is acting like they believe that. They resent the lies Trump told. They resent the insurrection Trump initiated. You may say they were not lies and it was not an insurrection, but corporate America does not believe you. They believe they were lies and it was an insurrection.

As I said above, Corporate America is pissed. They are pissed at Trump. And they now seem determined to obliterate his ability to operate like they obliterated Parler. You can talk about the left all you want. That changes nothing regarding what is increasingly known as the Trump insurrection. That is what has the focus now, to Trump's detriment.

And we haven't even talked about impeachment. Trump is feeling heat in the business world. He's feeling it in the political world too. Even Mitch McConnell is letting it be known (through leaks from his office, probably intentional) that he is pissed at Trump.

Please give evidence of inciting a riot by him. It is common for leftists to just make stuff up about him. Also, do you know if the riotous actions were already occurring before Trump ended his speech? You seem to assume a lot. Please give timeline if you have it.

Just curious. Do you agree with Hillary that if Biden lost the election that he should "under no circumstances concede to Trump"?

Absolutly not!
The proper thing to do is always admit defeat and congratulate your opponent.

That said, i wish Hillary would just shut up and go away.

The article of impeachment and subsequent documentation by prosecutors will supply what you seek in due course.
