The Trump Card...

According to the MSM these shakeups at the White House is unprecedented. I guess they forget how Obama filled the White House with his friends from Chicago and had to clean house several times before things began running smoothly. And about how it was musical chairs at the Clinton White House for the first 6 months of his presidency.

CNN's April Ryan quoting a source. Scaramucci said to Chief Of Staff Kelly 'I don't report to you'. Kelly: 'You're gone.'
That's the kind of reporting, and sourcing you find at celebrity gossip publications.
Yep, and on Twitter.

Trump's credibility continues to erode as explained in this piece. People who work under him or might otherwise be expected to respond to him are increasingly ignoring him.

Trump supporters can explain the report away by dismissing it as unfair and biased MSM reporting. The continuing lies (examples below) are not as easily explained away. Continuing lies undermine the man's credibility. Declining credibility increases the likelihood he will be eventually impeached.

"Trump said recently that he received a phone call from Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto praising his policies cracking down on illegal immigration into the U.S. The president also said the leader of the Boy Scouts of America called him to say he gave “the greatest speech” the organization ever heard at its national gathering last week. But both leaders have denied calling the president to praise him." Source

The more lies Trump tells, the more meaningless his words become. After a while, people simply stop listening.

His pardoning of Nixon was the only reason I voted for the Peanut Farmer. Hey, I was young and foolish and it was my first presidential election.

It's not a crime to collude with Russia. So even if Trump's campaign associates did,(which they didn't anyway)big whoop. But since we're on the Russian collusion thing, the only evidence of it is by the Fake News media who peddled that fake Russian dossier in the public to damage their political opponent Trump.

A year of investigating and still nothing. They are running out of time. Even if they did find something. he will have served a full term or more before anything would even happen.
The bad news is as they get into these investigations, we are finding out more and more misdeeds by they democrats. Things with actual facts and evidence. Interesting to see how it all plays out.

Look how the Fake News media turns a blind eye to that too. Very telling.

Interesting piece. If someone other than Pence was the vice president, I might not be as confident as I am in my impeachment prediction. The prediction is that the Republicans who have the power to do so will reach the point where replacing Trump with Pence is their best option.

Pence served 12 years in the U.S. House of Representatives. He is a former governor. As vice president, he frequently interacts with senators and representatives. In other words, career-politician Pence is a well-known and trusted colleague of the Republicans who have the power to impeach Trump. In their eyes, while Trump increases the distance between him and them, Pence is a brother. Pence is one of their own.

Trump continues to undermine his own credibility and alienate those who could otherwise be supportive. Today's tweet is the most recent example; “Our relationship with Russia is at an all-time & very dangerous low. You can thank Congress, the same people that can't even give us HCare!”

As Trump continues to be Trump, gentleman Pence looks better and better, and stands available to step in when called. His reassuring presence and politics will make it easier for Republicans to cast their impeachment votes.

Trump's immediate problem with the investigations is not what they are finding (nothing announced yet). It is his reaction to the investigations and the PR firestorms he generates. If he stopped bringing the investigations front and center with his unnecessary comments and tweets, many of the challenges the investigations create would fade.

U.S. News & World Report Opinion Piece:

Trump is Failing His Voters
Donald Trump Lied to Americans Who Desperately Wanted His Help

Excerpt:

"During the campaign Trump promised $1 trillion in infrastructure investments and they are nowhere in sight; not because of Washington obstruction but because a bill hasn't been proposed.

"Trump's Make America Great Again agenda is stalled in Congress because outside of a one-sheet tax-plan (and a budget that cuts aid to his own voters) his agenda doesn't yet exist.

"Trump promised legislation to end the offshoring of American labor. The only action has been an empty executive order encouraging companies to buy American.

"From building a wall to labeling China a currency manipulator, most of Trump's promises are unfulfilled or they've been broken mostly from lack of effort
(emphasis mine) ...

"Trump signed more bills in his first 100 days than any president since Harry Truman but they renamed VA clinics or undid Obama era Fish & Wildlife regulations. There are no major accomplishments.

"There were never going to be. Not because of Senate Democrats or fake news in the Amazon Washington Post; but because of Donald Trump."

On it's own, this is nothing more than one magazine's opinion piece. Looking at the bigger picture, it appears to me this is part of a new narrative that is beginning to gel. This is more than an MSM narrative. It's a widespread belief that is beginning to take hold among voters and, significantly, among the Republicans who have the power to impeach Trump.

We're seeing evidence that Republican legislators and world leaders are beginning to believe and/or publicly voice this new narrative. It's the story of Do-Nothing Donald, a man who became president unprepared, boldly spoke, and grew weaker by the day.

The evidence includes legislative defeats, criticism by foreign governments, new lows in job-approval polls and the increasing willingness of legislators and administrators to simply ignore the president.

As Trump continues to lay blame at Republican's feet, watch for them to tire of it. Watch for Trump fatigue to express itself in the increasing Republican williness to speak and act against Trump and eventually impeach.

Cant argue that. It will be interesting to see how they address the grand jury madness. Still pretty routine but the optics have to be carefully handled.

While they on the Trump wagon try to "handle" the optics will The Donald continue to Tweet until the wagon goes off the cliff? Hmm......is he the foolish Wyle E Coyote or the cunning Roadrunner?

It doesn't really matter how they handle the optics. The Press will characterize it as damning guilt.

If the Republicans agree to impeach, they will be setting their own party on fire.
