He says he can draw a yuuuuuge crowd - but his biggest was in Mobile, Al: 30,000. Bernie Sanders drew 35,000 in Iowa - without any advertising, lol.
Trump is still a joke as a candidate for POTUS.

Only Trump would say this. But he does bring up a good point. I really like someone who is always thinking outside of the box and not afraid to say it.

Still looking for the one I read that said 35K people showed up, but Sanders is getting bigger crowds wherever he goes, and his campaign doesn't spend money to advertise, either.

Sanders crowds are growing, which shows the growing unpopularity of Hillary. But really do we need yet another socialist in office?

I'm not sure that any meaning can be gleaned from comparing crowd sizes of Republicans and Democrats unless or until there is but one from each party left on their respective tickets.

Comparing the applely goodness taste of Red Delicious to Fuji to Granny Smith to Golden Delicious to Braeburn, all apples, seems to make more sense than does comparing a Red Delicious apple to a Naval orange. You may very well like the Naval orange better, even a lot better, but it ain't an apple.

Trump had 30,000 in the stadium.
Sanders had 28,000 in Oregon. Slight edge to Trump.

The difference is that many who show up to see Trump are like many NASCAR fans - just hoping to see a wreck. They won't vote for him, if it comes to that. [There's one article that makes that exact point, if I can find it.]
The people who show up for Sanders believe he is the best candidate, and they will vote for him, no question.
Major advantage to Sanders.

Yeah, I'm going to have to disagree with you on that one. Trump is getting support from many in the 'conservative base', independents and even some democrats. The conservative base is a solid voting constituency, if they believe that their candidate will make a difference for the better. At least some in the news media will have you think that the people who support Trump are just a bunch of uneducated rednecks fueled by nefarious motives, while Sanders' supporters are mainly sophisticated citizens with only the best of intentions.
Some in the media can't help themselves in writing biased articles like this.

Bernie may be in trouble if Biden jumps in. A lot of Bernie supporters are just on the "No Hillary" campaign.
