Really glad to see that all us 'drivers' and i guess I'll say that loosely now, stick together
and help/assist the other driver's out. Wow squeal for a meal, that reminds me of a herd of pigs. Real friendly people, real friendly. We don't want to toot our own horn, know other driver's do the same, but, we have assisted other drivers, proud to be of help, squeal for a meal, ????? not if i was starving!

Have you guys who are shocked at this squealing behavior ever worked in a factory or an office or probably any large company? This stuff goes on all the time, and the squealers don't even get rewarded with a meal! Apparently it's human nature and at least one carrier is cashing in on it. Big deal.

How many of those complaining about this are driving regulated trucks? How many use Prepass? How many get green lights when going through the scales? What's the point of the questions?

DOT violations are the bain of all companies. DOT violations cause more red lights on Prepass and more "pull around back and bring in your paperwork" at the scales.

There's more to it than just the tattletale aspect. There are parts of it that potentially effect every operator with the company.

Ok unlike most of you that took all of what he said about squeal for a meal i called Panther. I talked to Frank in ops he is unaware of any such program from Panther. While he said Panther does want to know if drivers are not showing decals for two reasons. 1 Branding issue they want the customer seeing that sticker so they know that the guy at the door really is a Panther. 2 There are stories out there that some drivers pull their decals off and book their own loads while running under Panthers authority. So to put a stop to that possibility they do want drivers to report non decal trucks be it van or tractor so they can get the decals back on.

Well crap scuba, your point number 2 happens a lot. I have seen a few vans that cover up their panther logos on the doors and run their own loads. Saw one in NC a few weeks back, I had to look twice because some sort of "award" stuff was on the back door.

All these "sightings" "stories" but never a pic. Seems weird that self professed technos don't have a digi cam. I can come up with all kinds of "I seen" stories but a pic makes it "factual".
