I see from your "member since" date that you joined this forum in July of 04. You are one of the folks that we were trying to argue, fight for. We bought our truck in the fall of 03 and by winter of 04 we were VERY disappointed. It's fruitless to try and list ALL of the problems here. The point we were trying to make is the same as yours. Had we been able to post OPENLY and without CENSOR, we might have saved you what has probably turned into THOUSANDS of dollars and enough stress to last you a lifetime.
Since that time, we have met several drivers that have had the same problems we had, we exchanged phone numbers and still communicate on a regular basis.
I'm truly sorry we could not help you before it was too late. Other than that, I don't know what to say.

It's interesting to observe how this thread has taken some new twists and turns.
Initially, it was concerned with Doggie's problems with Alumi-Bunk and his altruistic motivation.
I must admit, it had me scratching my head, and thinking, "Why would this disgruntled poster come back to a forum that he holds in contempt, to bring this complaint back from the grave?"
This complaint was answered by myself several times along with the suggestion that Doggie might have a ulterior reason for the resurrection of his alleged problems. That suggestion was conveniently ignored, but now that Diva has thrown her hat into the discussion ring, it appears that the true agenda has been revealed.
This revelation came about because the forums' members came to the defense of these boards with positive comments about Expediters Online. (For that, we thank the members for their support! It was very gratifying to see and we hope we always merit your trust.)

So, we finally get to the real reason for this thread authored by, so we're told, two moderators from a would be competitor's web location.
It seems like we've been through this before, these shoddy, transparent attempts to gain a little free advertising in a desperate ploy to attract traffic to a knock off web site that, so we've been informed, is little more than a chat room for its own moderators.
Actually, we thought this petty "turf war" was in the past, but it appears that we're back on the playground again, and as one member put it, "my dad can whip your dad!"
Typically, we choose not to respond to these attacks - it's better just to let the poster vent and the uproar soon subsides.
On occasion, however, we have to answer our detractors, particularly when our honesty and integrity is questioned. We suspect that all of the Forum's members would react in a similar fashion.
Against my better judgment - I'm going to ask that Diva post your story of Alumi-Bunk for all to read.
I am also going to ask that you post your address and phone number where you can be reached. I would also like for you to post who your leased carrier is - and what they have done to help this issue.
If you post it without all the information that I have asked for I will remove it.
At my discretion - I may move it to a dedicated topic.

As mentioned, I have limited information about your situation with your truck. But going with what I know, I think you should acknowledge who helped in your disputes and what your final settlements were that you agreed to. My personal opinion is, that if you weren't satisfied, why did you agree?
Lawrence went to great lengths to help you, and pushing this now is questionable. Tom Robertson helped you, and yet I don't see him mentioned either?

There are no perfect builders of expedters except the guys who build them in their own garages.Then they can sue themselves if they don't like the finished product.Otherwise,expect to be ripped off to greater or lesser degree's.

Perhaps the answer to this question goes back to that thing that you do so well, that old defense/offense thing. Change the subject, spin it around, and try to put the emphasis elsewhere.
I will be more than glad to compile a post of all the problems we've had with AB, it may take more than a few days as it's a very long story.
