I can't believe all the comments on a 2nd hand hear say rumor! If this is as you say, let the people wronged give there side! We need facts not hear say. No, I do not need a flashlight. Maybe sime people need reading comprehension refreshers.
Maybe I do - can't figure how anything posted can help anyone, as it's just hearsay, and cryptic at that.
I wasn't surprised...I believe the thread title was very clear, hence the word "inevitable".
What's inevitable is that folks will get busy speculating without knowing any facts, and how does that help anyone?
Once again, in an attempt to help, the cyberbullies come out of the woodwork...

Honestly the point is what does this have to do with anything else in this niche market?

Not trying to beat up anyone but Turtle eluded to something that I will repeat - we are not mindreaders here and if we were, we would not be in a truck.

I don't know what a few contracts have to do with caring or my comment or if John is lying or Obama has written an executive order banning the van this morning. However I know that a few carriers, regardless who others think they are are so small that they can have a 5000% turnover and it won't effect many in this business.

As for happening to anyone, not really because many of us don't try to grasp at blades of grass but look at the lawnmower as the right tool

I still don't get why people think I was complaining. All I said was 2 drivers got cut, by whom and here were the reasons given. Then all of a sudden it turns into this misconstrued twisted monster by the same crew who does this repeatedly throughout EOland.

Funny how they didn't jump on me not naming the slow to pay carriers. I suspect they know who those are. Luckily of all the ones involved in my little corner of the world, there is only one.

I really have to stop trying to warn people out here, Jerry. They just don't have the wherewithal to understand it for what it is intended.

I stand behind the thread's original intent. It's not about frying JD. He will do that to himself in time.

I don't get why the post was started, unless she was one that got the boot which from what has been said it does not appear to be the case. This seems like it was just an attack on JD Clark Logistics or someone that just wanted to start a problem for no reason. If it was just to serve as a warning to drivers then naming a specific company or drivers is not needed. The reasons for a contract termination are between the driver and company and the reasons could be many.

If this carrier isn't getting paid on their end they need to say so. However, them NOT saying so raises suspicions that there's something else at work here. Maybe they've spread too thin like so many others...maybe they don't have the business sense to fold eough money back into the company and now tides have turned.

If you're going to cut a driver, if you're going to be late on your contracted payments, 'fess up.

Of course, if the reason for letting the drivers go is different than what they both independently stated (and they both gave the same reasons), then that's on JD.

There may be a different reason. It's up to JD to tell it honestly to the drivers if there is.

The point is: if he is using excuses other than the truth, he should have been forthright with the drivers.

Sorry, that dog don't hunt. Too many people here can't figure out what you're trying to say. That's a pretty clear indication that there's an issue with your own communication skills in not being able to clearly articulate what you are trying to say. If all you were trying to do was warn people, then it would have been clear to everyone who read it.

I do name the carrier and every one of you accused me if fabrication then take the thread in its own little jaunt whuch you conclude to be your way or nothing.
