The GOP Lunacy Parade Continues ...

I think it is pretty sad that you would point out she has multple sclerosis as a "qualification" for being a senator.
Ummm ... I believe - if my reading of cheri's statement is correct - it was some Republicans who were entertaining the idea that because AR had fought MS it somehow made her appealing as a candidate ...

If that's actually the case, I'd say your feelings are - at best - misdirected ... (wrong target)

Maybe they are misdirected if in fact "some republicans" were entertaining her senate run because she has MS. Maybe Cheri could provide a link where "some republicans" said they think she should run because of her MS.

Well, you've had two shots at it and missed the target both times.
Re-read Cheri's statement "Because she fought ms", reload and try again. This is getting embarrassing.*:p

What is your point? Ann Romney has MS, has fought MS and is still fighting MS. Cheri's statement is as follows: Mass republicans are suggesting that John Kerry's senate seat should be filled by Ann Romney.( period) Next sentence: Because she fought MS and people liked her speech at the convention. The second sentence after the period starts with the word Because. Is this Cheri's opinion or a continuation of the previous sentence? Why don't you clarify Cheri?

Geez ... quoting their own propaganda organs back at 'em ...

Have you no sense of mercy ?

:p

I do.
But I also have a sense of irony, and it was just too easy, lol.
BTW: thanks for the info on Hagel - you post good stuff.

Could someone do me a favor and put my video up instead of it being a link. Because it really is appropriate. Much appreciated.

Yes, fortunately you do - so keep up the good work ! ;)

Why thank you - you're quite welcome ... credit goes to the authors ...

I find it's always quite instructive to watch the elected members of political party go on a cannibalistic feeding frenzy ... wonder if they will ever figure it out ?

Say, speaking of irony - if ya want a real hoot ... then scope this one out:

John McCain Rips Hagel in Senate Hearing, But Had Proposed Him For Secretary of Defense In 2000

McCain went on the attack against Hagel during his confirmation hearings for Secretary of Defense at the Senate Armed Services Committee, blasting him with a vigor Republicans generally reserve for communists and spree shooters.

After Hagel attempted to elaborate on his stance on the Iraq War surge beyond McCain's request for a flat-out "yes or no" answer, a visibily angered McCain said "that's a direct question, and I demand a direct answer."

Sen. McCain claimed that Hagel's views were in "fundamental" conflict with his own, and proceeded to attack Hagel's statement that he would need more information to evaluate what steps needed to be taken to control the Syrian civil war.

"How many more would have to die before you would support arming the resistance and establishing a no fly zone?" McCain asked.

These are pretty harsh putdowns. McCain was clearly against Hagel's nomination.

But during his 2000 presidential run, who did John McCain suggest would be an ideal secretary of defense?

"There's a lot of people that could do that," he told voters at a January town hall in New Hampshire. "One of 'em, I think, is Sen. Chuck Hagel."

Hagel's views have been consistent and clear throughout the entirety of his political career. Not much has changed since 2000, except their split over continuance of the Iraq war. So how can McCain consider Hagel's worldview "fundamentally" against his?

If this was about Iraq, McCain would have said he cannot support Hagel's nomination solely due to that issue. But he went further and suggested Hagel was completely unacceptable on ideological grounds.

So is McCain's beef with Hagel, or does he just want to attack him because it will protect AIPAC's unchallenged influence in D.C. and look good on camera?

John McCain Rips Hagel in Senate Hearing, But Had Proposed Him For Secretary of Defense In 2000

McCain needs to be put out to pasture ... preferably before he starts drooling excessively on the floor of the Senate, requiring a dribble cup and bib to be placed around his neck ...

And to think that the GOP actually nominated this loon for a position where he would have had his finger on the nuclear trigger ... it makes me shudder ...

I tried, [because the whole "Reading is fundamental" concept cracked me up] but it says Windows doesn't recognize the file protocol.....

Muttly: I'm sure a lot of Dems would just love for Ann Romney to run, [as a Repub, of course] too - but the Mass Repubs thought of it first.

I thought McCain should have been jettisoned when he chose [of his own free will!] Palin as a running mate - clearly out to lunchville even back then.

Yeah you need help.
You should consider a career as a comedian ... with material like the above you're bound to be a hit ...

BTW - how's the Grand Benghazi Conspiracy thing working out these days ?

Ever find that "smoking gun" ?

What about the Petreaus Blackmail thingie ?
