Lying? Who is lying?
Apparently not many that were polled.
It's the amount of oil.....which is not enough to even put a dent in what we use here which is why we needed the xl pipeline.Newsflash: Oil is a global commodity.
Therefore its price tends to be effected by world events.
BTW - that's a pretty tough needle to thread:
1. "Biden still allowing imports of Russian oil !!!"
2. "Biden responsible for rising oil prices !!!"
Good luck to you sir !
You do realize that even if that pipeline was completed today and the oil started flowing tomorrow once it was refined in Texas it would be loaded onto ships and sent to China right? And in the end it would have caused gasoline prices here to actually rise.We not only need the Keystone pipeline, but also reinstate the oil leases and natural gas production that Biden cancelled so we can get back to full energy production we had a couple of years ago. Everybody's talking about the gas stations now, but wait until we start seeing the price increases at the grocery stores due to the drastic increases in fertilizer prices. How many people realize Russia is a major exporter of fertilizer?
From this Bloomberg article dated March 2nd:
"Pandemic-induced supply bottlenecks and the rising cost of natural gas, a key production input, are among the factors sending fertilizer prices soaring. Add disruptions stemming from Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, and consumers will be paying more for almost every plate of food. “You think they squawk about having gas go from three to four dollars a gallon?” says Riensche. “Wait until the grocery bill is $1,000 a month.”
Bloomberg - Are you a robot?

Say what? Where did you get this absurd assertion? You do realize that even if that pipeline was completed today and the oil started flowing tomorrow once it was refined in Texas it would be loaded onto ships and sent to China right? This is pure speculation based on nonsensical fantasy. The idea that there was "never much fuss about the cancellation" is patently false. Canada and the Canadian company involved sued the Biden administration for $15Billion over the cancellation. There was also a lawsuit filed by 23 states in the US. This is common knowledge available with a simple internet search. The company that was going to operate the pipeline was probably glad when Biden cancelled the permit, it gave them a way out, they knew what the future was, demand would have dried up long before that pipeline would have made any money. That's why there was never much fuss about the cancellation from the people involved.
Right, they will sue the government to try to recoup the money they already spent (wasted) and guess what, we the taxpayers will probably pay for their stupidity.Say what? Where did you get this absurd assertion?

Republicans shouldn’t let themselves be goaded and browbeaten into supporting a military conflict because they are worried about Dems calling them Putin’s puppet. The old GOP v the new.
The standard of American patriotism leads to clear position on war in Ukraine
It’s appalling that some Americans, when considering Russia and Ukraine, weren’t able to figure out a simple moral problem on their own.www.yahoo.com
I found this in the article you linked. The old GOP v the new.

This report was prepared in 2011 and was an analysis of job creation by the project as proposed at that time. Keystone was modified several times after that and certainly wasn't concerned with the amount of oil to be transported to American refineries. This report is irrelevant to the current situation between Russia/Ukraine and today's oil market conditions.Right, they will sue the government to try to recoup the money they already spent (wasted) and guess what, we the taxpayers will probably pay for their stupidity.

Does that make him so by writing this?Never forget:

Does that make him so by writing this?
Kind of like "bigley".Given the path that's it is currently on, this is the future of the modern Trumper Republican Party:
