The Press certainly won't frame it that way, but it sure looks like Obama, Clinton, and the higher ups at DOJ, FBI and Intelligence all conspired to prevent and then overthrow the duly elected government.

I'm pretty sure there's a federal statute that makes such an action illegal. At the very least the punishment should be no more restaurant meals, or something.

Same with the Fact Checkers. Dems mostly fact check as true, whereas Trump never does, even when his statement is true. They create some new context where it's false or at least partially false.

And if Trump makes an unambiguously true statement, they never fact check those. Funny how that works.

Attorney Lanny Davis was apparently an anonymous source for a story and in that same article was said to have given a no comment. Is that standard procedure in journalism or is that a CNN thing?

It's becoming a thing. The FBI leaks information to the press, and then uses those press reports as justification for a FISA warrant.

Using the same technique, the press gets information from an anonymous source that has no reason to be anonymous, then gets a "no comment" quote from the same source to expand the scope and legitimacy of the reporting.

I haven't heard anything about any of the FISA judges that approved the surveillance speaking up. Some pundits said they should be outraged that their court was misled or something. It's entirely possible they're (FISA judges) either corrupt or are just lazy and don't care and just rubber stamped the applications because the FBI and DOJ wanted it.
