Trump calls out violence 'on both sides'.
The Fake News media loses their mind.
Trump's Epic Presser Clarifies Three Truths That Have Driven The MSM Insane

"I'm not talking about the neo-Nazis and the white nationalists, because they should be condemned totally. But you had many people in that group other than neo-Nazis and white nationalists."

That's the only thing I don't agree with that Trump said in the press conference/rant/tirade. I find it hard to get on board with "many" non-racists (or even one or two) joining up with an announced and permitted group of white supremacists, who were chanting white supremacist slogans and not pro-statue slogans, if they didn't share the same sentiments as the core group. Even if you want to stretch cedulity as far as possible and allow that some of the people in the group of white supremacists were not white supremacists, they became white supremacists the moment they joined with that group. The same is true on the left. Many of the counter protesters weren't Antifa, but they became a member of that group the moment they joined with them.

Trump correctly condemned both sides, but to the Left the counter-protesters get a full and complete pass on any violence because they were being violent against white supremacists. This despite the many real-time tweets from those on the left that made it crystal clear that the first volleys of violence originated with the counter-protesters.

What we saw in Charlottesville was a classic display of socialists fighting facists. And because most of the Left and the Media are socialists, they have no interest in entertaining any semblance of impartiality. The KKK wackos on their Web sites recount the event as if they were innocent and pure, just minding their own business and exercising their Constitutional rights, and were attacked without cause. The Media is reporting the exact opposite. Both are to blame.

I gotta tell you, if you show up to a KKK rally, be you a white nationalist or a counter protester, you pretty much deserve whatever the f**k happens to you. Granted, Heather Heyer didn't deserve to be run over by a car, but if you go on vacation to North Korea, go hiking in the mountains in Afghanistan or go to a white nationalist rally, you'll get no sympathy from me if things go bad.

I think we should rent out the New Orleans Superdome (or some other appropriate large facility, maybe several of them around the country at once) for a white supremacist rally, and use taxpayer dollars to provide transportation to as many racists and counter protesters who wish to attend, and once they're all inside the building, just lock the doors.

On the Confederate battle flag, that flag was retired in disgrace and put away after the Civil War, because the South lost and that's what happens with the battle flags of the defeated. Strom Thurmond resurrected that flag as part of his candidacy in opposition to the Civil Rights Movement as a symbol of racism. So that flag needs to be put away and reserved for memorial ceremonies and museums.

Virtually every Civil War statue that was erected in the 1960s, and there are a lot of them, were erected in protest of the Civil Rights Movement. They all need to come down. All of the Civil War statues and monuments that were created between the end of the Civil War about 1940 are historical markers and should be left alone, as important reminders of good and bad, regardless of why they were created in the first place. Attempts to erase history never turn out well.

Not much to add but a couple things: IMO, at least some were there( other than wacko nazis and antifa) because of tv/ news coverage or to witness closeup the clash of opposing groups. Cameras have a way of drawing bigger crowds and the people in them more daring and aggressive.
This particular statue was finished in 1924.

I just happened to hear this on the NY station I was listening to a few minutes ago. Another Robert E. Lee monument bites the dust. IMO, it won't matter if it was constructed prior to the 1940's. It will continue until he's only in a museum.

True, but as mentioned, the media has a way of distorting things no matter how distasteful.

Whoever made that meme, should be ashamed of themselves. That was clearly neighbor helping neighbor.
Now, replace the word "meme" with "news report" and you'll see how the MSM has largely reported this stuff. Mark Dice didn't just come up with that video premise all on his own, he took what CNN was actually doing and exaggerated it. And these picture memes are being created for the same reason.

Raw, unedited cellphone video shows people, including blacks and Hispanics, happy to see Trump, and clamoring to meet him and shake his hand and get a selfie with him. You think CNN showed much of that? Nope.

What they couldn't control and showed live was not commented on or was glossed over. There was one instance where it happened and there was a crowd of people waiting to continue the selfies and the happy-happy and CNN let the first one be shown live, then when it looked like it was going to continue they cut to a shot of a flooded street. Trump's a racist bigot and they can't have something that shows him to be the exact opposite of that. Then they commented on Melania's "Texas" versus her previous "FLOTUS" hat and suggested she was pandering to the locals.

Yep, I also noticed they were cutting the tops off of signs people were holding. Not a one said "we love flooding". They were all Trump signs

CNN showed the first part of that, then the selfie happened, and as soon as the next selfie was looking like it was gonna happen, they cut to the Governor Abbott off in the distance and showed him talking to someone.

Singer Charlie Daniels, known for his incredibly popular "Devil Goes Down to Georgia" diddy from 1979, posted one heck of a tweet about CNN this week.

Daniels, who is safely the most talented violinist in the conservative movement, said he has seen more "bull" on Jeff Zucker's network than his own barn.

I'll just come out and say it i know bovine scatology I raise bulls One CNN broadcast contains more than we dig out of our barn in a year
