There is a strange thing parked next to me. I have not seen who is with it. It is a run down, cargo van with SC plates. It is towing a run down, sorta of travel trailer with Ontario plates. The entire rig is junk. I wonder if the guy I saw is with that rig? Have not seen anyone around it for a long time now.

Pembroke, NY is populated by farmers and endless entrepreneurs who strive to come up with unique ways to sell firewood to campers on their way to Darken Lake. It's Boonieville. Far from dangerous. The big scary slick urban guy rolling out from under your truck probably dropped his lighter. Jeez Louise, people. The vast majority of New York - and a fair amount of New Jersey - is primarily farmland and countryside and people just trying to make a living and raise a family, not assessing you for recoverable resources.
I was not scared, I said it was strange. Who knows what he was doing under there. Keep in mind, this IS a truck stop. Where it may be located in no way makes it immune from the "stuff" that often goes on in truck stops.
I don't know that he was a "urban guy". He was tall, not big. Kinda skinny. I never even said he was a "urban guy".
All I said that it was strange. I have never seen anyone crawl under my truck before in 8 years on the road, nor have I ever done it. It's strange.
