Sleeping in a Dump

I saw a dump truck with a sleeper. What type work would use this setup? It was in Texas about 200 miles below Dallas.

In the interests of clear thinking and intelligent discussion, can someone share with readers here just what a dump truck is? Dumping is often said to be something we are not supposed to do because it hurts the environment and other drivers if we do. Fair enough, but what EXACTLY is it that we are not supposed to dump?

Did it happen to be a KW 36" flat top? I've seen the occasional one like that and my guess is just for extra space in the cab.

What does this have to do with cheap freight?

Maybe we need to have the in-house analyst run the number and see where the trends are with trucks owned by the pope that dump bears in the woods?

In the van division I can't see any ROI....5 years these things are worthless....600-700,000 miles...resale value? You'd be lucky to get enough to buy a dance on a Saturday night! Just have to run it till it drops....
