Pretty much the same on anything that has been ran 5 years with 700,000 on it. Maybe the weight of the metal at a recycling plant.

Dave ...I have no idea what your teams do as in yearly mileage. But wife and I do between 120-150,000 a year and thats the last 6 yrs. It doesn't leave much of a truck at the end of term. I figure you just have to make as much as you can while it's alive. And if ya figure we've averaged 80-90,000 gross to the truck, say 80x5=$400,000 over 5 years for say a $50,000 van. I'd say the truck paid for itself. Yes? No?

I would say 80 or 90k in a van really isn't that bad based on the numbers that others report.
I can't compare as we don't do any vans. At 400,000 gross I would think you would be ok, but as they say, "it isn't what you make, its what you have left".

So true , so true...so far this month with slowing down and keeping eye on tire pressure and all the other little things...I've managed to get my fuel costs down to 18% from almost 26% so I think I have expenses under control...to up the bottom line.
