I'll have to give you one of my extra TA/Petro cards. I spend to much money there so my showers never expire and I always have 7-10 on it.

I skipped to the end so I'm sure this has been covered.
PFJ fill for 14 gallons of gasoline gets you a 1/2 credit on the professional driver card.
I usually stop and fill at 250-300 miles to gain my 1/2 credit and to gets the blood flowing again. LOL!!
I usually finish the week with more showers that I ever need. And that's after taking a shower every morning that I'm not already rolling.

Lol!! No. I'm partial to at least one every 24-36 hours. Even if run route to a long drop. I can bust out the entire shower stop in 20 minutes if need be. Unless there's a wait to get one, of course.
I carry a stack of about 50+ TA fuel receipts with me at all times. Anytime I need a shower I just go up the clerk after I've fueled and say I'd like a shower with that... (25-27 gal tank) and it always works. I get a discount through my carrier at TA. Last fill was $3.60 a gal with the $1.50 that comdata takes out. I use fueleconomy.org to compare local fuel prices and sometimes will go to a speedway, marathon, Cheveron, BP, Shell or Arco etc... depending on where I'm at. I like to use good quality fuel with good cetane.

Love's were screwed in the vans. I've brought this up with Love's over the last couple of years and it's like talking to a brick wall.. They do let us park at the love's even with those 2 hour only signs. I just go in and talk to the manager and let them know where I'm parked and make sure it's ok.

When I can find them cheaper then T/A discounts I get I fuel there. I sometimes get 40 cents off at the pump or I'm near the house in McKinney where I get fuel for 3.599 for diesel.

That's my point right there. Getting .06 discount for using the card does not add up to a reason to get fuel there. .40 OTOH...
The last place I fuel is at is pilot or the hook because fuel prices re to high.. I now go to the gym if I need a shower, plus I can work out a little.. For 40 bucks a month I have a membership at LA fitness. For 330 I can get a 2 year membership at 24 hour fitness if I want two different places for showers.

How does Ambest work for showers for vaner's, I don't use them but be nice to know just in case. Here's a link to ambucks rewards only mentions diesel.

I agree, Truckstops are not the only option for a Vanner business plan, I also have a 24 hr gym membership, where I can take showers and stay healthy at the same time. My mpg has increased almost 1-2 since I stopped fueling at pilot/flying j.

No, they have limits and restrictions on how many times per month you can go to other Planet Fitness locations, and they arent 24 hr ,the best option IMHO is Anytime Fitness. Ive researched Planet Fitness, was a temporary member at Snap Fitness, and theres no competition when it comes to convenience and number of locations of AF. After your drops, start google mapping the different gyms and you will see what I mean. Ive been a member for 2 years, its a good investment for a C/V expediter.
