Always enjoy Phoenix. Last time it was 116 degrees. Nice dry heat. Kinda breaks things up a little; change in scenery. Have fun with family & friends.

Me too!!;.my dads brother lives in New River Az. Beautiful area..he has a small horse farm..you could ride from his backdoor to the Grand Canyon..and never see a sole..so not a bad place to hang out while waiting....

Hey Coalminer. You're right. We just spent 3 hours getting searched two different times and waiting forever to get unloaded. They were working a shutdown and place was rocking. Pretty impressive show of force "

Wow that's interesting! But then I realized you delivered into an active working nuclear facility, where as ours is closed and non operational. So deliveries to my operation are not as critical requiring exclusive use or expedite.

Did two back-to-back nuke runs in March. One place went all-out with the fatigues/automatic weapons/etc routine, the other two places used just stout fencing and guards with sidearms. Not that it bothers me, I try to be good :)

I do, however, think a little poorly of having to prove my citizenship a hundred miles from the border

Oo ooh sorry, that would've been efficiency! Tough break. But it's not your first and certainly won't be your last. Seems like Detroiter has always brought good luck to you!

LOL!! Right?!?! If it wasn't 42 miles south of me I'd RUN to it.
I've officially gone OOS.
I would have been too sleepy to go more than 200-300 tonight anyway.
SAFETY FIRST!!

Hanging at Lowe's in Clinton, MI now but not sure if its safe enough for a sleepover.

Did daddy duty on Thursday, then quiet weekend at home. Went to son's house for a nice evening; eagerly awaiting son's impending fatherhood later in the month! :)

Run last night, Lewisberry PA to Midlothian, VA. Run included flat tire with freight on board; delivered on time anyway (yay AAA) . Now chillin'at Pilot in Colonial Heights, VA.

If I were where you where I would just run home! :p The ONLY problem with that is every time I get home it gets harder to leave!

We wear the fatigues too at our facility. They're much more comfortable and breathable. Besides at these facilities it's dirty and dusty. We carry semi autos in a drop holster on our leg and carry shotguns.

I know!!! We started this week well and I really don't want to bail on it. I have a shower "handle" that's about to "go" so it's not like I don have a good reason.
Well, Sally and da babies are reason enough.
For some reason I'm missing them more today than usual. Maybe I'm menstrual.
