Made it to El Paso, and like a good expediter, went straight to deliver ... closed. Back at the J for a little supper, then off to bed. Looks like maybe Chef "is in the house"!

Never made it. I was almost to Arkansas, dispatch called and had me pick up in Dallas. Delivers in the AM. Hopefully (fingers crossed) they find something out of here going to one of the other lower 47!

Brag moment!

For all the things that drive me nuts (sensors, sensors, sensors) with this 2005 Sprinter, the fuel mileage has totally impressed me. Been knockin on the door of 27 mpg for a couple months, tweeking my driving style etc. Just filled up, this last trip was thru Ohio to Shelbyville, KY and back to Columbus area. With new front tires at 70lbs, backs at 80lbs, 700 lb load running around 62-65 mph, I finally broke the barrier and got 27.21 mpg. :)

That is one of the things I admire about the Sprinter, along with the height, length,HVAC, and the ride and quietness.

I'm thinkin when I add the cruise control, it should go up a bit more.. of course now we're getting ready for winter fuel ugh.

I like most things about it.. not the most comfortable ride I've ever had tho.. may be my size, but these seats just tear me up. I'm still thinking next summer I may go to something like yours or the GMC version. I doubt the Cargomax will be in my price range by then LOL.

I definitely want to replace this by then.. will just have to do a cost analysis on repairs vs fuel savings.

Oregon Aero Softseat. I'm tellin' ya. ;)

I'm thinkin about it LOL.. sometimes after a few hours, I have to stand there a minute and unbend when I get out.. stiffen up BAD. The guy I'm buying this from has two 2011's.. they are MUCH more comfortable.. but 18 mpg, and he's had more probs with both of them than I have with this one... I'd like to be more comfortable.. but 8-9 mpg can make a lot of diff.

Back at the yard after 25 days out. Wash bay down, bummer. Gonna need a blow torch to get some of these bugs off. Got a new QC, scanning problem resolved, although scanner sounds like it is on it's last leg and can't be replaced until it stops working I was told. Are you ready for some football tonight! I am

Yeah someone hit the door (didnt report it) and then when it opened it knocked a sprinkler head off and flooded part of the warehouse this weekend, which was a lot of fun. Door should be repaired tomorrow.
