Had a long busy day today.. helped my son and his fam move to new apartment.. then had a great time this evening with this lil thing watching the old show "Dinosaurs" on Netflix.

Gee, That's funny, I haven't had a phone call from you yet regarding this......lol....
So...while I'm sitting here, this guy pulls up in a fairly new looking Tahoe. He asks me if I would be interested in taking a load to Florida? "Sure", I say. Then I tell him that he would need to arrange it through Load One since Im contracted to them, but I could give him a phone #.
Well, that didn't seem to be exactly what he had in mind. I told him I wasnt sure what they would want to do as far as payment goes but he could work that out with whoever he talks to. He's just losing interest more and more...lol.
Then, he finally comes out with it. He has an old $1500 flatbed truck sitting over here in the lot with a 3 or 4 motorcycles on the back of it and his transmission took a dump. Then he tells me that there is a trailer mounted generator to picked up along the way also...lol. Anybody wanna guess where all that freight came from? I didnt ask.
I feel sorry for the guy. No doubt, he thought it was a great idea. What I feel even worse about is that he is over there now hooking a freaking towbar between that late model Tahoe and that old p.o.s. truck. I guess he plans on pulling the whole mess to FL.
Im thinking he has two routes...one is over Monteagle, the other is through the gourge. I wouldnt wanna be in that Tahoe in either case.

Unfortunately, We'll read about him in the news.I hope not, but with that kind of setup, it's possible.
My thoughts exactly. I hate seeing somebody in that position, but he had his mnd set on it. I hope he makes it.
Made it to El Paso, and like a good expediter, went straight to deliver ... closed. Back at the J for a little supper, then off to bed. Looks like maybe Chef "is in the house"!
