I don't get DH FSC, so that does not apply to me.
Many see this government intervention as a good thing, it is not. A lot cry about EOBR and E-Logging at the same time they want government to take care of the FSC, sorry thats just plain dumb. If you want to control things, then you have to make decisions. If you can't make decisions, then you need someone to control things.
If the brokers are taking all the money that you think you are entitled to, well then don't take the load. This is how the system is to work and it is working. Brokers are such a small part of the problem, maybe we need to see the government step in with real price controls and set cost per mile rates, starting at $1.50 based on our individual income or better yet the age of our trucks, sounds good to me. Let's return to the days of the National Recovery Act and let them tell us how to run things - it can be the National Truckers Recovery Act (NTRA). Yep we can have the government tell you when to fuel, where to fuel, how much to fuel, what time of day and week you can run and how much you can carry. (if you think I am kidding about this read about the NRA)
I say let the free market work. Let people decide for themselves if the load is good enough or not. I and many others think that there are too many trucks, too many trucks mean too much supply and too much supply drives the price down.
