I know there is...LOL....I am not trying to beat you down by any means....just saying and YOU know some are running and not making anything after expenses....they are just piling up the miles and going no where....

My last load paid close to 400 bucks more then I would've gotten over there. The miles were only 280... That's strong. **** the miles, full steam ahead.

so I walked up to our load bidding section last night...4 of them having a campfire shoot the breeze session backs to their screens....I says out loud....HEY the loads are on the screens! back there!!....You should have seen their faces drop....like they were looking at MikeJ Sr.....LOL

Yet, strangely enough our guys say they are making somewhere between more and a lot more per "all miles" than when they were at tier prior carriers.
Getting $1.20 per mile is great until you only run 700 miles a week.
Seems you tune has changed quite a but in the last couple of months. Sounds like someone replaced the coffee maker upstairs with a Kool Aid dispenser. LOL!!
Everybody must remember that this is JULY folks and freight volumes are way down like in Jan. This just the way it is.
Now as towards the miles per week thingy, I don't worry about how many miles I run since my carrier pays me % of load. I look to a certain $ figure each week. Some weeks and some weeks less. That's what works for me. Oh ya "work smarter not harder."
