It has long been stated that every carrier has warts of some type or the other...BUT I find it unbelievable that we as professional as we try to be, are so acceptant of that fact.

And most carriers know but won't admit they have warts and do absolutely nothing to improve the status of said warts...

In part because we accept those same warts as a normal course of business...

Weird business we are in when one accepts below average behavior as normal as a matter of fact.

Flying "J" coffee got him off on the wrong foot today!!!

Not to worry OVM. One thing I have learned in my almost 50 years in the labor force is that every organization that I have ever worked for had "warts". That is just how it is. It is not possible to be perfect. The trick is to pick a place where the "warts" suit you better than the "warts" at other places.

Man I sound so wise today!!! ;)

I dont do coffee, sir OVM !!! Comtemplating On going outside to find the battery connection problem on the van, and to check for any possible warts.

Just grab the positive cable in one hand and hold unto the fender with the other..you may find it...*LOL*

Gotta hand it to Panther though...they keep changing the rules every 60 to 90 days and shifting the warts around to keep everyone in a state of flux...:p;)

So, that is what this is all about..Yea, youre right.It sounds like an excuse for new rules and changes..Hmmm...

I would suggest that you either change to warmer clothes or wait for a warmer day!! You gonna freeze your tushy off otherwise.

As mentioned, the "warts" appear differently to different individuals. Some people prefer making a 3 minute cellular departure call while I'd prefer a 47 second QC entry before rolling. As mentioned, every employment situation has it's warts. Some may be a negative of the particular institution whereas others may just be SOP that is perceived as a "wart" by some.

Interesting..whens a wart a wart and not SOP?

If SOP is considered a wart by enough owners shouldn't that SOP be at least reconsidered?

No, actually, At a young age, I saw how coffee affected my freinds in the morning on the toilet, and I thought, why do I want to add to that? Besides, I see how it affects people when they dont have their coffee in the morning, kinda like Polterquiest.I just never had a need for it, although I do love the smell of it.Mormon? No even close, believe me.My one sister became one,and I would not have anything to do with their way of thinking.

May take the van to my freinds shop, he has a heated floor shop, and the floor temp is at 72 right now, he said.
