I don't know how many miles a month you drive but I only pay about $1200 per month for about 10,000 mi. give or take.Of course. I just committed myself to running a diesel again after 5 years on natural gas. Hello $3000 monthly fuel bills...
It used to be 3000-4000 miles a week, not even close to that now. I know I won't be paying 0.90 cents a gallon for diesel like natural gas
BTW, I get paid in Canadian so 2.00 US costs me 2.65...here a US gallon costs about 3.40
Canadian liter = 40 oz to US liter at 32oz.....at US quart= 32oz a Can quart is 40 oz....is the price gap is not as much as you think....It used to be 3000-4000 miles a week, not even close to that now. I know I won't be paying 0.90 cents a gallon for diesel like natural gas

Wouldn't it be better to work for a company in the states then ?

to be carrying around that much extra weight is going to reduce what cargo load you can safely take and that extra 400Lbs or so will reduce brake life and other suspension parts and tranny wear....beware the penny saved to-day could be a dollar spent tomorrow.I always convert Canadian litres to US gallons...with exchange...US fuel is still usually 40% cheaper or so...plan is to drop the Sprinter spare tire and mount an extra 50 gallon tank
I do know there's no actual reason for prices to go up, but the speculators who actually cause the prices will find a new angle I think...matter of time...

Luxurious? Not! Just a fold up cotI'm aware...my best paying runs lately have been a 4 lb box beside the drivers seat...still have to weigh the new (to me) sprinter. BTW OVM, still got that luxurious bunk? I'm out of the "coffin" but my foam board and blanket only add about 10 lbs...
Looked luxurious compared to my 24" alumnibunk, was almost 10 years ago...I had sprinter envyLuxurious? Not! Just a fold up cot
time to move so anywhereYep, it would be better to live there too. Rent here is 1695 a month, and that's cheap...the average house price is 700,000 in the suburbs...
My carrier had me working almost every day at a decent rate and I was home every night. 2 people in my family have serious medical issues, I've been off since May 2nd and carrier has no problem, just tried to send me work...
