Seems to me if this Phil person had wanted his information posted here, he might have done it himself?

I'm just sayin ...

Oh you gotta be careful with that one. They'll all line up now and tell you why your wrong..at least they did me. Heck even Phil joined in.

Then why was his contract terminated?
Several reasons, one being that he spoke about it here online. You'll do well at FedEx, in whatever division you may be in, as long as you tow the company line, are a "company man" through and through, believe that you exist to serve them, and believe that FedEx itself walks on water. As soon as you deviate from that philosophy and open your eyes to what they really are all about, you will find FedEx to be the personification of evil (as one friend who absolutely knows what he's talking about puts it), and if you voice your concerns and observations, you will incur their wrath. :D

Of course FedEx reads these boards, as do most carriers, and Phil knows that.

I have a strong feeling why is the fact that he came here and complained about the changes allegedly being made.

IT actually says a lot that they would make this move with this team at this very time.

He had already posted the information in another area which I saw because I use my phone which brings up all activity. He has also posted about this in the past too.

It's just FedEx being FedEx, I've had the misfortune of being a contractor for them in a different division. They like to run your life and almost tell you what color underwear to wear and if you don't like it you can leave. It doesn't suprise me at all that they monitor these boards and let Phil go after he posted the problems FedEx has had recently.

Thank you, did someone say they run CV loads in this division as well?

Yes Cargo vans can run govt/military load for AA&E if they are team and have a solid bulkhead between driver and cargo area

Yes, it pays well. They can also do escort for the semi's in the carrier divison, with an empty van! That pays well also

I would not be too quick to arrive at that conclusion. First, they will not tell you why a contract is being terminated even if you ask. Second, I was not alone in stating my issues with FedEx Custom Critical.

If you read the posts going back several months in the FedEx Custom Critical forum and write the names of those who also stated their issues, you will have quite a list.

Most are still with the company, I think. If FedEx Custom Critical is terminating contracts of people who complain on EO about the company, it would be a new practice.

Finally, my complaints were made over a several week if not several month period. If they are in the business of dumping contractors who complain, it would have happened to Diane and me long before now.

Anyone who wants to carry on the contract-termination-for-truth-telling theme will be doing so with no facts to go on. The only people who know what really happened are inside the company and they aren't talking.

Diane and I belive (and it too is a believe since the company is keeping its facts to itself) that our termination notice came because we made it known not that we were thinking about leaving but that we were in fact leaving. As I stated in this post, their official notice came to us just 17 hours before our offical notice would have gone to them.

It is common for large corporations to limit their risks by immediately escorting their people to the door once an intent to leave is known.
